At the time, Alexis DeJoria and the Patron Tequila Toyota Funny Car were near the top ten of the most competitive teams in the NHRA Funny Cars. It’s very hard, being able to campaign, in the most competitive and powerful segment of motorsports in the world. These 10,000 Horsepower land rockets are the quickest accelerating machines on the planet, and definitely the most powerful vehicles on four wheels. Yet, since we last met, she became the Quickest Woman in the history of Funny Car, she earned her first National Event win in Phoenix at Wild Horse Pass Raceway; and she is currently #3 in the points standings.
