Funny Car driver Alexis DeJoria and Alex DeJoria Racing are returning to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this week on a mission. Actually, DeJoria is on two missions — winning the NHRA Toyota Nationals event and spreading the word about the second annual “Free Mammograms for the Fans” promotion at the speedway.
DeJoria is teaming with the Nevada Health Centers to bring back one of the nation’s 12 mobile mammogram clinics to the speedway in Las Vegas during race weekend, Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Women at the track will be offered an opportunity to get a free mammogram. Health insurance is not a requirement for participation in the program, but participants who are insured are asked to bring their insurance information to the screening. Read More
