Quotables:

Alexis DeJoria, Driver

We go into race day qualified ninth here at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, and we’re excited to go out there and hopefully have another successful Sunday. We had some good qualifying runs this weekend.  We were the provisional No. 1 qualifier after Q1 which earned us three bonus points, and during Q3, we had the third quickest run of the session, so we were able to pick up another bonus point there, which is always nice- those little points add up. In the first round of eliminations tomorrow we’re up against our teammate Del Worsham, and Ron Capps, and Chad Head, so it should be an exciting session. My main focus right now is just to take each round at a time, and hopefully tomorrow will be a long day of racing for the Patrón XO Cafe Toyota Camry Funny Car team. We’re currently ranked No. 3 and it would be great to finish out another race weekend in the ‘Top 3’ of the NHRA Funny Car points standings.
