Quotables:

Alexis DeJoria, Driver

It was a pretty tough second day of qualifying, but when it was all said and done, we managed to make two good full runs this weekend in Bristol- one on Friday and one tonight. Our 4.02 [ET] tonight landed us in the No. 5 spot, which puts us against Tony Pedregon in Round One tomorrow. I feel pretty good about going into race day with that setup; who knows what the temperatures are going to be- it’s been up and down all weekend. I’m hoping we can come away with a win for all of the dads here at Team Kalitta tomorrow.
