Quotable:

Alexis DeJoria, Driver – Man we had a really good car all weekend long but just got outran during round two against my friend Courtney Force. We ran our best numbers this weekend in our Patrón Toyota Camry [3.875-seconds at 332.18-mph, career best E.T. and Speed, Q2]. I know it seems like I say that every week, but that’s because we keep resetting our career bests which just shows how much our team has progressed.

The Funny Car class is so incredibly competitive right now. Everyone is running so well, and now everyone is running in the 3.80s; that’s the new thing. If you’re not running a 3.80, you ain’t doing nothin’! It’s good to be one of those teams that is capable of running in the 3.80’s.

I’m really looking forward to the upcoming East Coast races. I’ve got my East Coast family out there for support. It’s my second home and I love racing out there.

NHRA Countdown to the Championship Points Standing (unofficial):

451 points, ranked 8th (previously, 9th)
